Acorns Parent and Toddlers

Acorns Parent & Toddlers

Acorns Parent & Toddlers is run by Susanna who has trained through ‘Care for the Family’ and ‘Home Start’, to be able to work together with parents and children and help build relationships between them and strengthen the community.  Acorns offer true friendship to everyone who comes to our group and we are here to help create an environment where friendships can be made among group members.

At Acorns we believe children are a precious gift from God.  We are determined to uphold a positive regard for each individual.  We strongly discourage negative remarks and attitudes, instead leading by example, with encouragement and praise.  We provide a loving, caring and secure environment for your child and family, promoting good family values and morals.

We welcome everyone, whatever age, relationship to child, culture, religious background, colour, gender or disability i.e. parents/carers and grandparents.

Aims and objectives

Acorns gives your child a chance to meet and play with other children of a similar age and a chance for parents/carers to socialise.  We have plenty of safe space for children to be active and to play.  (We ask that you look after, and encourage your children to look after, the room and the equipment)
