We are committed to developing a culture in which people of all ages find a place to belong, grow and flourish as they explore their own expression of faith.
Safeguarding At The Community Church Wrexham
We take safeguarding seriously and have a dedicated safeguarding lead to help us to develop and maintain a safe environment in which everyone, particularly children and adults with additional care and support needs, can develop physically, intellectually and spiritually.
We maintain a safeguarding policy that applies to everyone who works on our behalf with children, young people, their parents / carers and adults at risk of abuse, whatever their position, be it trustee, senior leaders, group / ministry leaders, paid staff, volunteers, or others working on our behalf. If you wish to see a copy of this, please contact the office via our contact page.
Raising a Concern
If you are concerned about a child or adult or have been told something that is a concern, please contact us on safeguarding@fathersplace.org.uk. This is a confidential email that goes straight to our Safeguarding Team who will be in touch with you.
If you believe a child or adult is in imminent danger please telephone the police or phone the helpline of the charity thirtyone:eight on 0303 003 1111 for advice. Please let us know if you have done this by emailing the Safeguarding Team safeguarding@fathersplace.org.uk too as this will help us to link up with the relevant authorities.
Any information that you communicate to us regarding safeguarding will be actioned promptly, sensitively and confidentially.
