Our vision is to facilitate peoples’ journey to freedom through God’s healing presence one person at a time.

What is Bethel Sozo?

Bethel SOZO is a unique inner healing ministry in which the main aim is to get to the root of those things hindering a person’s connection with their heavenly Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit. This is likely to involve repentance, forgiving others, healing wounds and renouncing lies believed and replacing them with truth.

Is Sozo for me?

If you can relate to any of the following, then Sozo could be for you:

• “I am having a hard time hearing God lately. I feel He isn’t listening….”
• “I am not very good at relationships….”
• “Every time I take a step forward, I seem to take two steps back. I feel as if something is blocking me from breakthrough….”
• “I often feel offended and angry at people….”
• “I feel that God is disappointed with me…..”
• “I live with anxiety….”
• “I feel so frustrated….”

How does it work?

A Sozo session may last 1¼ to 2 hours and is conducted by two trained team members, Bethel Sozo is not a counselling session but a time of facilitating your interaction with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit with the objective of finding greater freedom and ability to pursue your destiny.

Is there a cost?
We ask people who book a session to consider making a voluntary donation towards the running costs and continual development of the Sozo ministry within The Community Church. The suggested donation is £25 to £30, but if you can’t afford this amount, we offer Sozo prayer to anyone, regardless of ability to pay. Any donation is welcomed and your contribution is greatly appreciated.

How do I book a Bethel Sozo?

If you would like to book a sozo appointment we would need you to complete an application form and sign the liability release form.

Our Sozo appointments normally take place Monday to Thursday day time & evenings. Please put a note with your application of your preferred days & times for the Sozo. A Sozo appointment can vary in duration but typically lasts about 1¼ to 2 hours.

Then on receipt of your application we will contact you to arrange an appointment, please remember to let us know your availability. You will need to go through the Forgiveness Sheet in anticipation of your sozo.

How often do I need a Bethel Sozo?

Bethel Sozo is a one off session but it is possible to have more than 1 Sozo session. Usually at the end of a session the team will suggest when you should next come for a session.
